Renowned for its restoration of historic properties, the luxury hotel group Belmond is now collaborating with world-renowned contemporary photographers to create collections of works that reflect their destinations, carefully pairing each artist with the unique personality of the chosen hotel. Coco Capitán photographed the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express in spring 2023 and winter 2024.

Capitán's photographs and the title of the series remind us that, despite the glamour, the journey is just as important as the destination. Every moment should be cherished, even if it may seem trivial or insignificant, for this new reality is fleeting and will soon belong to someone else.
