Guylene Galantine, a ceramic artist, lives and works in Roubaix. In 2018, she trained in modelling techniques in the workshops of the Atelier Jouret. She is particularly fond of grogged stoneware with its irregular, coarse aesthetic. Shaped by hand in a natural reddish-white stoneware with an enamelled interior, the Flat & Thin vase is one of a very limited series of pieces. Each piece is unique, due to slight variations in form in the crafting process.
